Instructions

Be sure to read the instructions for your transfer paper before use.

  1. Find or create images and slogans to print. Use a Text application to create slogans, create images with basic shapes using a Paint application. Photographs are great to use too.

    Light T-Shirt Transfers

    • Great for slogans, text and images on white or light colored t-shirts

    • Create your design in MIRROR, especially for designs with text, so when you lay the transfer face down on your t-shirt to apply, it will be correct.

    Dark T-Shirt Transfers

    • Great for images on dark colored t-shirts

    • Create your design as normal

  2. Print your images onto the white side of the Transfer paper with your inkjet printer. Use the “Best Quality” settings for normal paper.

  3. Cut the excess paper from your images after printing and before applying to your t-shirts.

    Light T-Shirt Transfers

    • All white areas will be transparent when applied

    Dark T-Shirt Transfers

    • All white areas will be opaque and should be removed from the Dark Transfer paper for proper application.

  4. Preheat your Iron to the full temperature for 5 minutes.

  5. Prepare your hard, heat resistant surface to iron on. Do NOT use an ironing board, as you will need to apply firm pressure as you are ironing. Protect the surface you are ironing on by placing a pillow case or towel on top.

  6. Lay your t-shirt flat on your protected ironing surface. Iron the area you will apply your transfer to ensure smooth application.

  7. Place your design on the shirt for transferring

Be sure to read the instructions for your transfer paper before use.

    • For the Dark Transfer paper the image should be printed normally

    • Peel off the transfer backing and place face up on the shirt
